Hello and welcome!

I am Ina, the founder of Sewingmachina.

I'm convinced that hand-sewn clothes can look just as stylish as off-the-rack clothing. I'm a perfectionist during the development process—only when I'm satisfied with every detail do I move on to the next stage. Each pattern is tested in many different sizes and for different bodies to ensure the perfect fit.

In addition to the look, my focus is on beginner-friendly instructions – and for most of my patterns, a detailed step-by-step video tutorial is also available. So not only the look is perfect, but also the workmanship.

Sewing is a tradition in my family, so I started sewing at the age of 13. I always wanted to have the latest fashion, but luckily my parents didn't (always) buy it for me. So it was only logical that I simply sewed the cool clothes myself – and I still do it passionately to this day!

I've been creating my own patterns since the end of 2020 and I'm thrilled to be able to share them with you!
